My favourite memories of Astrid
Bringing you home in the car as an 8 week old kitten. You were so tiny and the cutest wee thing .
You loved your cat tree and even though you were small, you'd chase Sammy away if he tried to use it!
You used to chase Sammy down the stairs and jump on his back, poor old Sammy! He never once retaliated, bless him
You !earned to catch mice by watching Sammy , the first time you saw a mouse you didn't know what to do with it... But you soon learned....
You used to climb on the conservatory roof and try to get into the bedroom window in our house in Haddington
When you were a kitten, you were very playful and loved catnip toys and the kong kickeroo
You did love to be around us,you used to hang around and watch us a lot and would occasionally surprise me by jumping on my lap. You would tolerate having your head and chin stroked a few times . Any more than that was too much and if I didn't stop in time you'd bite me just to remind me of who was the boss !!
You did love a wee afternoon nap and if you saw me going to bed you'd usually follow me and sit between my legs near the bottom of the bed . You'd purr loudly with approval about this !
You loved dreamies and would come running when I shook the pack.
You were quite a quiet wee cat, very graceful and beautiful markings.
When we got the dog, you were really not chuffed to begin with, however over time you became friends and you enjoyed stalking her and giving her a ninja strike every so often!
